Orizzonte’14, held on 10 October 2014, as an extremely popular day event aimed at students from class XI – XII from Delhi and NCR. The management fest saw participation of over 600 students from around 40 schools. The competitive events were held to test the students’ analytical abilities and their creativity.
Eureka!, An Entrepreneurial Challenge, was extremely popular among the students. It tested the students’ entrepreneurial abilities and how good they are at thinking on their feet.
The Couch Potato Quiz, an entertainment quiz saw enthusiastic participation from students who answered question on popular TV shows like Sherlock, Suits, How I met Your Mother, Modern Family and the phenomenally successful book series, Harry Potter. The teams made their way through interesting rounds in hopes to claim the top prize.
Focusing on the importance of financial knowledge, Stalking the Stock, a Mock Stock event, event was held with students challenging themselves in a simulation of the stock market.
The program also allowed students to get a feel of what it is like to study Bachelor of Business Studies, the only undergraduate management course in the University of Delhi.
We aim to make Orizzonte 2015 even bigger and better.
